Background
After growing up on the East Coast, Holly took a bold step and moved to the West Coast for law school. After graduation, she honed her craft through an internship with a Federal Court judge followed by working for a Los Angeles law firm. Holly loves exercise, sports, and being in nature so runs on the beaches of Malibu were a dream come true.
However, after several years of practicing law as a litigation attorney in Los Angeles, the love of family lured her back to the East Coast. The Triangle area in North Carolina was the perfect place to focus on family, clients, and community.

About Our Clients
Holly Hammer became a lawyer to help people. This mission drives everything she does. As an entrepreneur herself, when she can't find what she's looking for, she creates it. This is what lead Holly to build her own firm and allows her to understand her clients' entrepreneurial spirit.
Holly's clients include non-profits, businesses in the architectural, building, real estate, textile, software, and life science industries. She has worked with a wide range of C-suite and high-level executives on employment and stock agreements, severance packages, and business strategies.
She also enjoys working with young professionals – Millennials and Gen Xers – providing advice and guidance as they build their careers.
Holly genuinely cares about the people she works with – she knows their families, the names of pets, their pain points and where they would like to succeed. She dedicates herself to securing the best possible results for her clients, with the view that clients should get the same degree of care that her family would.
"Our clients are more than clients at Hammer Law – they are people with problems and their problems become ours until they are solved. Our relationship with clients and the exceptional level of service that clients receive is what sets us apart from other firms. We genuinely care."

Giving Back
Commitment to Our Community
Holly is passionate about giving back to the community. Healing Transitions is a non-profit that is close to her heart. Healing Transitions is a long-term addiction recovery program offered free of charge, where 76% of alumni remain substance free after one year. She volunteers with Healing Transitions by serving on their Board of Directors, providing legal services for free, and every month she donates a portion of the profits of her law firm to the organization. Giving back to her community in this way makes the hard work of practicing law completely worth it.
Whether it's a donation of finances or of time, Hammer Law firmly believes in giving back to the community that supports us.
